Confirmed by a tweet that was shared by the show's creator and executive producer Jeff Eastin on Friday, USA has ordered for a second season of its crime-comedy-drama series, White Collar. No details on the size of the order or the premier date have, however, been shared yet.
White Collar revolves around Neal Caffrey, played by Matt Bomer, who plays a con man, released from the prison under the condition that he has to assist the man responsible for putting him behind bars to begin with, FBI agent Peter Burke, played by Tim DeKay. Hilarity and confusion ensure as the lead man, bound by an ankle bracelet monitoring device, tries to play his part, all the while looking for his lost love Kate, played by Alexandra Daddario.
7 out of the first season's 14 episodes have already been aired, and have been highly acclaimed by both the critics and the audience. The fall finale of White Collar averaged a series record viewer figure of 5.55 million.
The series is now all set to return for the rest of its initial season on January 20, and the relay will move from Fridays to Tuesdays.
