News 45 First Family Celebrating Christmas at Home Land

The first family is celebrating Christmas surrounded by friends. White House Spokesmen said that the President wants to spend the holidays at his birth place and is not interested in making public appearances or any news-making event.

Before going for the holiday his Christmas message was recorded that went air on Christmas Eve and can also be read on internet.

In his message, he sent wishes and prays for the men and women in uniform who are deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan and in the States too.

He added, "And this holiday season - and every holiday season - know that we are doing everything in our power to make sure you can succeed in your missions and come home safe to your families".

Even the departure of the President got delayed as his top advisors were interested that the President should witness the U. S Senate passing its bill of massive government overhaul of health care coverage.

The complete staff of the White House has been involved in this historic health care reform which is being done for the people of America.

Last year the President had spent holidays at Windward Oahu.

Though the President is on holiday, still he has got all facilities to govern and deal with any crisis.
