Convicted swindler Bernard Madoff has been shifted to the Federal Medical Center in Butner, North Carolina.

As per reports, the Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman Traci Billingsley informed that Mr. Madoff was getting treatment for dizziness and hypertension.

Traci Billingsley also denied reports that Mr. Madoff was assaulted in the prison. 

It should be noted here that, a person, who met Mr. Madoff several days ago, said he didn't complain regarding any physical issues.

Earlier in August, prison official denied a report, claiming the Mr. Madoff had been diagnosed with cancer.

71-year-old Mr. Madoff, the mastermind the largest Ponzi scheme in history, has been sentenced 150 years in prison.
