The specs for Google's Chrome OS have leaked by the British site IB Times. The ongoing rumors reveal that Google is in a process of developing an actual netbook rather than just an operating system for netbooks which is already known.
The netbook will run Chrome OS and come with a bunch of Google applications.
It is apparently believed that the Google netbook will combine the Nvidia Tegra platform with an ARM CPU, and will serve as far more powerful a device as you need for running web-apps alone. Some other specs about the device depicts that it includes 10.1 inch high definition ready multi-touch screen and 64GB SSD storage complimented with a 2GB memory . In addition, from the connectivity prospects it provides WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, Ethernet facilities along with compatibility for I/O devices as USB, webcam, 3.5mm audio jack, flash card reader.
IB Times speculates that the netbook could be subsidized by wireless carriers and could be available for under $300 by next Christmas. Also, Google would sell it using its own web service and may even partner with a network operator to sell it as a bundled 3G plan.
