On Friday, Rush Limbaugh said that the doctors found no troubles plaguing his heart or arteries, and the reason for the immense chest pains he felt, which landed him in a Hawaii hospital on Wednesday, are still a mystery.
Mr. Limbaugh, the popular radio host, made a public appearance at a news conference at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, and shared that the doctors had performed various tests and "found absolutely nothing; it was a blessing".
"The pain was real, and they don’t know what caused it", he said.
Mr. Limbaugh was vacationing in Hawaii when he was rushed to the hospital after he complained of a sharp pain in his chest on Wednesday, at about 2:30 PM. He was kept under observation at the hospital until Friday.
He is not taking any painkillers anymore. In 2003, the radio host had admitted that he was addicted to painkillers, for which he entered rehab.
Mr. Limbaugh would be returning to work "sometime next week".
