Everyone is eagerly waiting for the Consumer Electronics Show which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas next week. All popular electronics and technology companies will be showcasing their upcoming products at the show, and most of these have already managed to create much excitement.
This year's show, it seems, will be ruled by tablets and netbooks, and Google's Nexus One smartphone.
Due to the global impact of the recession, this year's CES will be smaller in comparison, with 110,000 registered attendees, but the number of first-time exhibitors has gone beyond 330 for the first ever time.
The Google Nexus One, based on the company's Android platform, will definitely be the highlight CES product, even though the product will most likely debut at the firm's California headquarter two days prior to the show.
"All eyes are on the Nexus One. The other thing of course is the tablets. A wave of Android tablets will be hitting at CES, and it looks like Apple's is coming at the end of the month", said analyst Rob Enderle of Enderle Group in Silicon Valley.
India based Notion Inc. will be launching its tablet computer, which is being looked at the most anticipated unveiling, and e-books will also be rolled out in abundance.
There will be a total of 2,500 exhibitors at the CES this year.
