Taylor Swift Still Flying High As Sales Slide

With falling sales and a week without a Top 10 debut, teen country star Taylor Swift reclaimed her crown on the U. S. pop album charts Wednesday, as her second release, 'Fearless' rose one place up after selling 249,000 copies. Britney Spears' 'Circus', last week's chart-topper slipped to No. 2, while Beyonce's 'I Am ... Sasha Fierce' held fast at No. 3.

Common's 'Universal Mind Control' enters at No. 12, Brandy's Epic Records debut 'Human' stands at No. 15, Avant's fifth, self-titled album debuts at No. 26, and back to the top rung is Canadian rock band Nickelback's 'Dark Horse' rising to No. 4. Hit vampire romance 'Twilight' sound track was up one at No. 5, Kanye West's '808s & Heartbreak' fell two notches to No. 6. AC/DC's former chart-topper 'Black Ice' climbed three rungs to No. 8, while the soundtrack to Disney's 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' slipped one to No. 9, with 'American Idol' champ David Cook's self-titled major-label debut held on at No. 10.

There seems to be a shake-up for the top spots with Fall Out Boy's 'Folie a Deux' scheduled to hit the charts, together with Jamie Foxx's 'Intuition'.
