There are rumours afoot in Hollywood that the marriage of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony is close to breaking point, after Lopez was seen attending the premiere of 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' last week, sans her 8-carat engagement ring, sans wedding band, sans husband, who is generally photographed by her side.

Us magazine's cover story claims there is a crisis in the couple's marriage, as one week before the premiere, Marc Anthony too, was spotted sans wedding band. 'They both didn't wear their rings on purpose,' a source revealed to Us.

It seems, apart from several others, Marc Anthony's controlling ways and alleged wandering eye is one of the reasons behind the split. Apparently, shortly after a rather 'tense' Thanksgiving, Anthony was spotted at Bungalow 8 and Marquee, was seen 'with his hand on a woman's thigh and overheard complaining about his wife to a group of women,' reveals Us magazine. While, the next night, TMZ took pictures of the singer and Eva Longoria Parker, partying in Vegas.

However, Marc is not the only one causing a rift between the couple, who renewed their marriage vows in October, including welcoming twins Max and Emme earlier this year. It seems Jennifer unhappy with just being a ' Long Island housewife', blames Anthony for the demise of her career as a box-office star.

With multiple sources confirming the marriage is almost over, because Lopez dislikes Anthony's alleged 'controlling' nature, from choosing his wife's clothes to monitoring her phone calls, however, all may not be over yet, as the pair were spotted on 16th December, exiting a Los Angeles restaurant, holding hands.
