Business to be the Prime Focus of Google's Nexus One

Consumers might be looking at Google's Nexus One smartphone as a "fun" device, but the company is looking to target the business-minded customer with its newest creation, as has been confirmed by Google's Andy Rubin.

The Nexus One has been manufactured by HTC, which has also made other Android smartphones like G1, MyTouch 3G and Hero, and the new device is being looked at as a nice addition to the already huge and impressive line-up of Android smartphones. But all the prior handsets do not have a physical keyboard, which makes it a little difficult for them to target business people alone.

But Google is planning to take care of this issue with the Nexus One's next version, which will have a hardware keyboard.

No other details, however, were shared by the Google executive who was mainly behind the creation of the Android operating system for mobiles.

"It reminds me of the accessory business. The most successful phones have the most ear buds, car chargers, etc", says Mr. Rubin.
