Research In Motion has come up with a new device called the BlackBerry Presenter, which will allow its users to deliver presentations straight from BlackBerry smartphone into projector device without any computer.

The BlackBerry Presenter, which was uncovered at recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, is basically a projector for BlackBerry smartphone. Its user will be able to present PowerPoint slideshows from his BlackBerry to any projection screen.

Introducing the new device, public relations director at RIM, Shelly Sofer, said, "If you do PowerPoint presentations, you can leave the laptop behind."

The BlackBerry Presenter is compatible with BlackBerry models which run OS 4.6 or better.

The portable device, which is controlled wirelessly by a BlackBerry after plugging into a projector, has sufficient memory to hold data from nearly hundred slides.
