First Lady Completes One Year in White House

First Lady Michelle Obama has completed one year in the White House, and while she says that she would not give herself a grade, she is very pleased with her debut, and has promised that there's much more to come.

"I'm a 110-percenter, and, yes, we can do more", she said Wednesday.

No episode, event or outfit would qualify for a "redo", absolutely nothing, the First Lady has stressed, not even last year's notorious gate-crashers, while happened when the White House was hosting an event for the Indian Prime Minister on November 24. "The state dinner was an outstanding success", Mrs. Obama said, while designating the entry of three invited guests as "footnote".

46 year old First Lady, during her role as the President's wife over the past year, has visited 14 states, 8 overseas destinations and 6 military bases, and has hosted over 20 events at the White House.

Mrs. Obama said that, during the past year, the most pleasant thing to have happened was that her daughters, 11 year old Malia and 8 year old Sasha, had managed to settle. "I was just really worried about these little girls and whether they'd feel good starting this new school and living this new life", she shared.
