BMW and Audi Report Rising Sales on Back of Improving Chinese Auto Market


World's biggest maker of luxury cars, BMW, and Volkswagen's Audi, reported rising sales for the month of November, on the back of improving Chinese auto market which nearly doubled because of ample Government incentives.

Jobs boost with new Mini models


German car-maker BMW has plans to build two new Mini models at its plant in Oxfordshire generating as many as 1,000 jobs.

Company's plant in Cowley, near Oxford will produce a coupe concept and a second concept car, which will be made public on September 15 at the Frankfurt motor show.

BMW’s July sales down 13%; Mini sales climb a little


German luxury-car maker BMW AG said Friday its global sales dropped approximately 13 percent in July to 109,923 cars.

BMW, world's number one premium car-maker by sales, sold 725,377 cars during the first 7 months of the year, 19 percent lower as compared with the same period of the last year.
