Google allows Maps users to explore the inside of 2016 Rio Olympic venues
Google has revealed in a recent post on its Google Maps Blog that, with the Rio 2016 Olympic Games having officially begun, anyone who has access to the Internet can go round the inside of the Olympics venues with the help of the updated Google Maps app.
Stating that Google Maps is "going for the win with the Rio updates," Google said that the Maps app now allows users to explore 12 outdoor official venues of the 2016 Rio Olympics. In addition, as a result of a recent Google Maps update, users can also tour a total of 25 indoor venues.
The changes which Google has made to the Maps app to enable users to explore 2016 Rio Olympics venues can be accessed by anyone who is physically present on the ground as well as by those who explore Maps from any other country.
As a result of the updates that Google has made to the Maps app in the wake of 2016 Rio Olympics, it will be possible for users to view the Olympics events and see the surrounding venues.
In fact, the updates rolled out to the Google Maps app in coincidence with the opening of the Olympic Games will enable people to experience the games in some way or the other.
