Google adds two popular games -- Solitaire and Tic-tac-toe -- to Search

In a recent announcement, Web search giant Google has revealed that it is rolling out two popular, classic games -- Solitaire and Tic-tac-toe -- straight into its search engine and standalone Google Search app.

The announcement that Solitaire and Tic-tac-toe have been added to Google Search implies that people interested in playing the two games on their smartphones no longer need to install a separate app on their devices.

In announcing the addition of Solitaire and Tic-tac-toe to Google Search, Google said that both the games are now available on the desktop web as well as in the company's search app for mobile devices.

As such, Solitaire and Tic-tac-toe games will show up for interested gamers when they search for the games on Google.com or via Google's mobile app.

To play Solitaire, gamers have to select from two difficulty levels --- easy and hard; while the much simpler Tic-tac-toe game has three difficulty levels to choose from --- easy, medium and impossible. Moreover, Tic-tac-toe gamers who have a friend nearby can also play against a live opponent on the same screen.
